ABOUT LEE
My Mission is to bring beauty, joy and artfulness to everything I do and to be a midwife for those who dare to birth their authentic vision and voice in the world.
Always there is a dream dreaming us … What is your dream? What would you do if there were no obstacles in your path? For as long as I can remember I have had two passions; to express myself through art, to and to help others to connect with what they are passionate about. My curiosity about human differences and my ability to be a bridge builder between communities was fostered early through growing up on the edge of Spanish Harlem in New York City, attending a prestigious private elementary school on scholarship, attending public high school in Harlem, receiving my bachelors degree from an ivy league college, and then traveling widely. I have taught art classes, exhibited and sold my art work for over twenty-five years. Both individual and small group art classes are available. I also do color consulting, faux painting and mural painting for people’s homes and office spaces. (Click on Art Events for more information).
I have over fifteen years of experience counseling adults and adolescent girls in life and career transitions. My counseling clients (individuals, couples and support groups) describe me as both very nurturing and practical in my focus. I use a variety of techniques and tools: talk therapy, career and personality assessments, art therapy, visualization, dream work and behavior management techniques. (Click on Counseling for more information). I also offer highly interactive and art-filled training groups for businesses, corporations and non-profits (Click on Group Trainings for additional information).
